Every Memorial Day weekend since 2008, Seattle has hosted HonKFesT West; an immersive and energetic festival of street bands from around the globe. VCSB returns for it’s second year.

2026 Porch Tour
VCSB continues its fondness for a good porch venue. Appearances expected at The Fuller Store, The Country Store, & other fine Island porches.
18th Annual Low Tide Celebration
Low Tide Celebration focuses on exploring the marine life of the Puget Sound at the low tide line. Explore the island’s unique coastal ecosystem with naturalists. Enjoy local vendors and food trucks. VCSB performs at noon.
Our Performances
We march in the Vashon Island Strawberry Festival and Winterfest Parades. We’ve played for Stupid Bike Night, First Friday, Fat Tuesday, our Farmers’ Market, and fundraising events. We have played birthdays and we have played burials. Occasionally, we venture to the mainland (HonKFesT West, TacomaHonK), but most of our performances are on the Island, outdoors, and in our streets.
